• LUTEIN + ZEAXANTHIN: The two carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin are highly antioxidative. They both absorb damaging blue light and thus protect the photoreceptor cells.
• RESVERATROL: Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant, well known for its anti-aging effects. It also supports the regeneration and protection of the photoreceptors.
• ANTHOCYANINS: Anthocyanins from elderberry extracts promote ocular blood flow and metabolism.
• VITAMIN C + E: Vitamin C and Vitamin E are antioxidants. They serve as a natural scavenger of free radicals and protect the eye from damage and oxidative stress. The level of vitamin C is significantly higher in the eye than in the blood, requiring an adequate supply to be able to function properly.
• ZINC: Zinc is highly efficient against free radicals and essential in terms of the retina‘s metabolism.
